Earlier this week Dustin was in rare form. He was irritable adn grouchy. He got into the shower with his clothes on and then proceeded to scream and holler that his clothes were RUINED because they were wet. Of course he hollered this at the top of his LUNGS . . . for close to an hour.
He could not understand that his clothes get when they are being washed so it was no big deal.
Ahh, FAS. *big sigh*

I will sigh with you... sigh...
I belong to a group for parents of children with a Schizophrenia that was just discussing this strange behavior. Things like getting in the shower with clothes on, getting dressed for the day only to put back on pjs and go back to bed, and not wearing undergarments correctly. I thought mine were doing it purposely. I'm convinced now that they aren't.
I'm sorry things are rough for you right now.
I used to work with a guy who showered with his clothes on. He lived alone (big surprise, huh?) and he boasted that he had discovered a new labor-saving technique.
After he finished showering/clothes washing he took off his soaking wet clothes, wrung them out and threw them in the dryer. He always looked sort of rumpled but at least he wasn't smelly like another former coworker who wore the same clothes day in and day out.
The really bizarre thing is that these guys were lawyers who worked at at a large, reputable, New York City firm.
