Not a pretty purple. A really gauche purple. I just couldn't handle it.

I painted it bing cherry. It is a dark red. I really like it. I had paint leftover and have painted the number plate background the same color and redid the numbers in gold. I painted a couple of flower pots and
I have been contemplating doing the same to the mailbox. But I have to tell you, it just changed the whole appearance and puts a smile on my face all of the time.

It really is amazing what paint can do for an overall disposition in any area of the home. a year ago I painted my bedroom periwinkle and put real lace up for a "wallpaper border."

My daughter just did her room in a mint green, chocolate and offwhite. It reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream!

Oh, and it took me forever to decide on my front door color, I had to drive around and look at a lot of houses to make my decision. hehehe.JR - A Green Eyed Gurl....https://www.blogger.com/profile/11726255362725707892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16655703.post-30114964043412522662007-02-13T05:04:00.000-08:002007-02-13T05:04:00.000-08:00Tell Dustin I cried for him when I read that he bi...Tell Dustin I cried for him when I read that he bit a teacher. And then I cried for you as his mother having to deal with all of it.

I don't know if it is acurate, but imagine that for whatever reason he must have felt somehow trapped to lash out in that way, and feel bad that there is not some magic pill out there that would simply erase all of his cares and worries.

Fortunately for him, there is a mom out there that is more than willing to stand by him, love him, and bang her head against the wall over and over trying to erase all of his cares and worries. Dealing with all of his disabilities on a daily/hourly/minute to minute basis cannnot be easy, and yet you do so over and over with grace and love. This is your mantra for today: "GREAT IS YOUR REWARD IN HEAVEN!"Pattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00303174242363531142noreply@blogger.com
